Just in time for the cool weather. This soup is very good and if you are watching what you eat then this is perfect. This was given to me when I was going to weight-watchers.

1 large onion, chopped
1 (1 oz.) package Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix
1 (1 oz) package Taco Seasoning Mix
1 (16 oz.) can pinto beans
1 (16 oz) can chili beans (either hot or regular)
1 (16 oz) can whole kernel corn (optional)
1 (8 oz) can Mexican-style tomatoes
1 (8 oz) can diced tomatoes (any flavor)

Directions:
Brown meat & onions and drain.
Mix Ranch & Taco seasonings into meat.
Add rest of ingredients, undrained to mixture.

Mug Cake!

This Recipe is very cool. I was impressed with the results.
It is a 3minute microwavable cake. I never knew

I could have chocolate cake this fast!

CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips(optional)
a small splash of vanilla essence
1 large coffee mug or soup mug

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well
Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla essence, and mix again.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes. The
cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!

Homemade Costumes

Halloween is always a fun time for me - I love dressing up! This year I wrangled my husband into dressing up with me. I don't care if all we do is pass out candy-we are still dressing up! I am a big fan of Tim Burton so I chose Jack and Sally from "The Nightmare Before Christmas." I am making both costumes too. One website that really inspired me was coolest-homemade-costumes.com - everyone on here has such great ideas for making your own costume. If you are into creative costumes then you should check out the website. I'll post pictures whenever I finish the costumes.

In the beginning...

So this is an attempt to better learn the art of blogging by experiencing it first hand all while expressing my love for all things creative. I really enjoy stumbling across some new art project or an innovative way of doing something and exclaiming "Well Isn't that neat!" This is my way of sharing those discoveries with others so they too can benefit from the joy of being creative.
